Supercharged Mini

Hello everyone.
I thought i'd let you know that i will be supercharging my 74 Mini in the next couple of months.
I will be using an SC12 supercharger (anyone got one for sale?) and a custom manifold that comes in a kit form.
I'll be putting up progress updates as i complete each bit.
So yeah this is to let you know what i'm doing and to also ask if anyones got an SC12 supercharger they are selling?
Thanks
Will.

sweet man i have always wanted to do something like this. Big exhaust and bonnet scoop on a mini.
Everyone is like "wow there must be something big about to come around the corner with all that noise" then i pull up in a mini. ha ha ha.
I would be interested to see how it goes

I'd be interested is seeing the progress of this since I had an early "Cooper S".
And yes the first thing you do when racing someone is head for the curves and the front wheel drive left them all for dead.
Small touch of the handbrake on the real tight ones just to get the ass out and keep the power on.

no doubt the car will be awesome and it will fly, but be careful with your gearbox, my mate had a turbocharged mini and it made about 85-90fwkw and he continually broke gearbox after gearbox...

I've seen a 4age in one. Purely for racing as the entire front end was inserted, gbox and all. Wheels sitting entirely outside the body. So much for over square bores this was an over square car.

THey do fit.
But custom subframes and shit brings the engineered total to around 10 grand.
Don't have that sort of budget... not for this mini anyway
