I have been constantly reading that 1jz MZ/GZ soarers are becomming much more abundant. I have really yet to see many of these for sale but am just wondering when guys have been doing the conversion have they got half cuts or just engine and loom.
What is the average price people are paying for this conversion including all associated extras.
And to what degree of complexity is the wiring? Can you use the stock dash etc.

I'm just curious as i keep on reading about guys saying thats its becomming much a more common project and that it isnt all that expensive. It also sounds like the difficulty isnt all that great outlined by earthweb who even noted that the A340E is better for handlng power than the A342E which even lowers the cost.

Just would like everyones thoughts on this as i might be starting to become convinced to ultimately do this to my GZ20 limited.

if i were to do a 1JZ conversion, i would buy a manual halfcut. The R154 manual box is worth around $1-1.5k on its own, and to me, i just couldnt do a conversion like this and NOT have it manual!!

As for the rest of your questions, the answers are arbitrarily based upon your relative definitions of "easy" and "cheap".
