corolla sprint?

heyya all
right now im looking around at a few cars (obvious in my sig) but my dad seems to have found a corolla 'sprint' (not sprinter) do these actually exist? if they do what kinda specs do they have? i cant seem to find any info on them

Are you sure it was not a corolla with the Spirit sticker on it? (sort of looks like sprint) They are an AE71 sedan if that is the case. I have never seen a corolla Sprint though, not to say they don't exist.
There is plenty of info on the forums outling the similarities and differences between the AE71 and AE86.

yup, corollas with a sticker, ke70, ae71, ae82, ae92 ae101 etc....
nothing extra... iv seen a ae82 sprint with a 4ac and ke70 sprint with a 4kc...

to give you an example, in 1997 the hyundai excels came out in "sprint" and "twin cam"
the sprint had the SOHC motor in it, and was poo.
the twin cam, well , it had the DOHC motor, and was a bit more fun to drive.
Perhaps they followed a similar convention with 'toyota.
