6 CHANNEL AMPLIFIER - $100 Mon, 20 June 2005 22:24 Go to next message
Specs:

6 x 50 watt RMS into 4 ohms, or 3 x 100 watt RMS bridged
Channels 1/2 have low pass filter
Channels 3/4 and 5/6 have high pass filter
Separate level adjustment for each pair of channels
All channels bridgeable

I had this amplifier running a pair of front splits, rear 6x9's and a 10" sub. Sounded superb. Selling as I now have a wagon and nowhere to mount it. Will also swap for a 4 channel amp.

$100

so you could rin your fronts and rears with 4 channels, and bridge the last two channels to run a sub?

Any links to check out? very interested.

Links to more info on the amp? specs or review's. Trying to get an idea on it's sound quality. I know i shouldn't expect much for a $100 amp but still curious.
For $100 it's hard to pass up.

No, don't have any more specs other then what I have listed. ALTEC were Strathfields own brand several years ago and were supposed to be one of the btter budget priced amps. I guess it depends how bent you are on sound quality. At the time I replaced 2 aplines I had with this amp and I couldn't tell the difference.
