Pressure plate/Flywheel bolts Mon, 11 July 2005 05:47 Go to next message
I have broken yet ANOTHER bolt.

One of the six bolts that bolt the 1g pressure plate onto the fly wheel has broken.

Anyone know of a toyota part number replacement for them?

*Forgets to search, goes away now and does*

Hi Tensile what though? are they specific or you just think I should take out one out and go to a bolt place to get them to give me something similar.

Go to a bolt plate, get them to give you something the same size, but stronger.

They are supposed to be torque up to about 20ft-lbs?
I've snapped them at about 28ish ft-lbs before.

Just get some ARP items... and don't reuse flywheel / pressure plate bolts!

If you break one of these does it have to be replaced?
