is it just me or do they need to redesign their badge more than anything else? If I was on big brother and they gave out one of these cars to me, I'd be thinking:
a. How much can I sell it for
b. It's okay, it'll look better after I take the badge off, and then I can sell it.

Yeah, the badge is tacky and shit. However, it's no small thing for a company to change a badge or logo. But I'm willing to bet that Hyundai will do it in the near future.

Yeh, but to me, it reflects on how good their cars are.
For some reason, the Toyota badge reflects global domination!

Didn't subaru go through similar stages back in the hey day until they started releasing some decent cars?
I don't know .. That just popped out of my head from somewhere
You never know what will be the future with Hyundai I reckon. Toyota in recent times (in Aus in most cases) has shown you can dominate with some boring cars (that have all the quality you need however and appeals to the general public).

RWD?
I quite like the look of that, nice and clean without excessive plastic (like the new Mazda line up, far too much plastic in their grills I rekon).
Also, what's wrong with the badge? It's basically the same as Toyota's except a H

The badge is.. not quite complete? It's lacking something..
When I first saw the ad (my eye site is not that good) I was looking at the car and trying to look at the badge and I thought it was the Lexus badge and I was thinking hey this car looks alright. When it turned out to be a Hyundai I was pretty surprised.
The new Tiburon is set to be a 6 cylinder rear-drive so maybe they are getting their act together.

It looks very Honda. I applaud their work for two reasons
- It looks a lot better than previous efforts
- They're copying Honda styling not Toyota

hmmmm looks alright, front is kinda like an embiggend elantra with Audi S4 style headlights, rear wreaks of Accord Euro Looks nice imo but alas i'll believe it when i see the thing last.
Oh and another thing that bonnet is gonna be a prick if you ever damage it. The shape looks nice but smooth up then inset again ahhh after an acci which many hyundai owners will have its gonna look shit house if it ain't perfect and i reckon a replacement one wouldn't be too cheap either.

Click these to see your error...
Honda Accord.
Honda Accord Euro
There's two types of Accord... for some reason Honda thought this was a good idea. It's confusing IMO. Anyway... the Sonata looks like the one in the first link.

so it does, hint the top accord is the same one that is sold in the us and competes with the camry on family car sales, the aus ones though are sourced from thailand i wrote an article on them and the Mdx when i did work experience at motor (for the front section of the mag for upcoming models). I should know shame on me .

oh... so are both Accords (Euro and the other one) made in Thailand?
That's pretty crappy... If i were to buy a Japanese brand of car I'd assume that it were made either in Japan or in the country in which it's sold.

Yeah i like the look the the new sonata, the 3.3l v6 will produce 172kw, which is decent, unfortunatley manual option only on the 2.4.
I like the styling, the rear end takes cues from the Accord and audi and the fron takes cues from the liberty and accord euro. All in all a nice car at a reasonable price, if people change their opinion of the brand.

I like it!
Thought it was an add for the new IS250 when I first saw it. Was quite shocked to see that it was a Hyundai.

Doesn't look bad actualy. I think the Accord Euro looks better.
The front is very Ford Falcon.
Atleast it doesn't look like arse.

I saw one in the flesh the other day.
Wasn't as impressed as when I saw it in the commercial.
The body and the wheels just don't seem to be designed with each other in mind. It was weird... I can't really explain it.
