HPI Savage Monster Truck RC Wed, 06 July 2005 06:17 Go to next message
i have for sale my HPI Savage Remote control monster truck, its a very quick high jumping bashing machine

When i say high i mean high, i have jumped it 5m HIGH not long and landed it and driven away, have jumped approx 10m long at the same time.
The savage is the BEST off road nitro monster truck on the market, it can take an absolute smashing, they have a range of after market parts and hop-ups,

there is come absolutely pimpin bodies available

http://www.hpiracing.com/graphics/bodies/7490amdark.jpg
just add bigger wheels

included are as follows,

Hitec HS645 hi torque steering servo, coupled with servo saver gives massive steering capabilities {also have a spare one}

Ofna throttle mod {gives better throttle respose and control}

4 spider diff mod {makes it lock harder and makes it stronger

heavier shock oil to make it corner better

a few spare clutch bells for different gearing

speedo/odometer {arm fell off tho $10 to replace}

ofna high power hump pack for extended driving and strong servos

fail safe, unlike the tyco toys u had when u were 10, if these go out of range at full speed, they just keep going till they slam into something at 70kph, the fail safe stops that, it locks the brakes up

motorsaver air filter {bigger}

lotsa spares

u can also now get a .46 motor, which makes spastic samounts of power is 0.46 of a cubic inch and makes 5hp {3000hp per litre} Very Happy
and a 3 speed transmission
full spools {lock diffs}

go to www.towerhobbies.com and look at the price of spare parts, or can be bought through ebay, u can make the entire car out of alloy bits to bling it up

needs:

radio gear, my mate has a spare set i can get for cheap
ignitor/charger {best to get one that can do the hump pack too}
might need new diff gears {$15} may have spare set anyway
fuel {duh}
tune up, hasnt been run for a few weeks

selling due to my bloody corona need work

$500 replacement cost well in excess of $1200
