RA40 brakes for KE55 problems Sat, 16 July 2005 02:40 Go to next message
Hey hows it going,
I have aquired some RA40 struts and brakes and was going to put them into my KE55 corolla but upon closer inspection the strut inserts are minced. Im just wondering if anyone has tried using the corolla struts and adapting the celica capillers and rotors. The capillers can be secured by redrilling the brackers to suit the corolla pattern but if the celica disks are bolted to the corolla hubs they are too long for the axle stub, I was wondering if the celica disk/hub will go onto the corolla stub axle and fit.
Thanks for your help
Spode.

The stub axle on the celica is different to the corolla so the celica discs wont go onto the corolla stub axle.

When you say

do you mean the shock inside the strut is no good or the strut tube itself.

If it is the shock then they can be replaced.
