There is a circlip behind it. Go to your local auto store and get the removal tool for a few bucks. Makes it dead easy.

The other trick is to get a fork & cut off the middle 2 prongs.
Sometimes you might have to try from a few different angles, it depends on how the last person put them back on. But generally they're put on from the side of the handle, or from the side opposite the handle.

i thought the KE20 had a little fake plastic panel in the middle of the winder that when taken off reveals a hidden screw...

You could try and hack it off lol
But seriously invest in door-winder-removal-tool. Depending in the one you get, you'll be able to use it for lifting off the door trim as well.

all ya need is 2 screwdrivers
one to pry the door trim back ever so gently not to fuk it and the other just to flik the circlip off and presto.
the clip has gone flying and u cant find it but u got the winder off.

You just don't want to use two of the pry-bar sized drivers hehe
