Does anyone know how to check the coil (4age) to see if it's working iv'e checked it with a screwdriver on the lead and there's no spark but how do i determine wether it's the coil or something causing the coil not to spark?

Does anyone know if there is a different coil i can run for a 4age engine that will run with the factory ecu and dizzy?
