For the first time that I can recall, bubble's advice is sound.

Save money by not doing mods and then buy a faster car.

Trying to get power out of an f series engine is always goin to be hard and frustrating and u wont get much gains. However some of the basic things u can do r exhuast, CAI, better filter, maybe extractors? u already seem to have done half of them is the prob...Otherwise the money u put into the car tryin to make it faster is prob better off saving with for a future car because u will get better power gains per dollar if its spent on a nicer engine. Hope this is some help Very Happy

If your car is bogging down off the line it could just be its lack of torque down low family cars r designed for better low end power and torque. Try more Revs off the line or your timing could be a bit out if its bogging down majorly.

trading post, the for sale section of these forums.
Be patient keep the camry for a year or two save money then spend up big on a bigger and better car.
I got my rona just on two years ago now, i have bought tyres shocks and springs for it and general maintenance and thats it, it now corners decently and being lighter and having cubes on it side would be a bit quicker than your camry but that another story.
Instead of wasting shitloads of money in the time i have had it, (modding a 22re is a hiding to nowhere)i opened an ING saving account and have been putting money in it monthly. MInd you i now work fulltime after finishing school don't no what your sitch is but money is pretty good for me atm.
I will be looking at getting a car around the 20 mark by the end of the year and will pay atleast half of this in cash.

i am currently still in high school, im in year 12 and have a part time job, ever since i was little my dad always told me i have to buy my own car, i had a holden gemini at first that was a bit better than the camry but the gemini had its day and was running out of rego and needed engineering certificates for the engine that was in it,so i sold the car and this chick came by my house, she was my mums friend but anyways she asked me if i wanted to buy the camry, she sold me the camry for only $800 and it has rego till next year feb. can a little and i mean really little crack in your window make you fail rego, the crack lookes like a spot that is how small it is, i was on a rocky road and yea i had to have fun started to slide and drift after i saw the spot.

audit reason being they wanted to see what the hell you did to make the car stay in such good condition after 400,000km+ ? Wink

Very Happy nah my nieghbour is my mechanic and his workshop got audited selecting ten at random of the last 50 checks he'd done, and i managed to be one of them.
The RTA guy said the car passed with flying colours and it was in great condition for age and kilmoters hehe.
