I pretty much started this thread to brag 
My stock 1jz turbos have shat themselves and the prospect of putting some stock replacements in wasn't very tempting.
This goes on my Soarer tomorrow and I can't wait. It is a garret t60 item. It is going to use the 2 stock manifolds joined, because I am cheap. I got it off a mate that had it on a totally stock 1jz cressida and that thing absolutely munched me so I'm looking forward to it.

please help me with my little survey-your cta12's shat themselves at 228rwkw? with stock Y piece? Interested to know as I think the heat at this power level with the stock Y [if it was] Is the main factor in the stockies failing but trying to get more "data" Thanks and best of luck with your new single.Cheers.Pete.

petespipes: The stock ct12a's failed in that the turbo seal on the rear turbo failed and was causing oil to pass into the exhaust. I was running the ct12a's at 1.1 bar boost (for special occasions). I was using the stock "y" dumps.

what other supporting mods did you have for that power figure?

mods I had with that figure were:
3" exhaust straight after the dump, with high flow cat
Front mount cooler
Apexi SAFC II and AVC-R
HKS fuel cut defender
440cc 2jz injectors
decent air flow upto the air filter
With this turbo I'm hoping to run about 260+ rwkw on a higher boost setting, the limit of the injectors.

thanks for that,a very good power figure with the massive flow impediment of the stock Y dump.Yeah-guess it will be bigger injectors next? Or will you be satisfied with 260?
