my 5mge does not idle cold when the throttle body is closed.it idles with an intermittent miss when it is warm yet it slowly dies after about 1 min of idleing. to correct for this problem i have been starting the engine with the throttle body closed and then putting on the choke very slightly and it seems to idle after that but still has the miss.
the confusing thing is that for about 3 months the engine ran absolutely perfectly. no rough idle and no stalling.
have replaced plugs, leads, rotor, rotor cap.
coolant temperature sensor is not hooked up as the car has a manual gauge that is plugged in atm.
does this sound more likely to be computer setting or can this be due to a faulty sensor eg. ox, afm.
i am stumped and it is really starting to s**t me.
