EOI - Recaro Look-alikes Tue, 19 July 2005 08:46 Go to next message
Looking at selling these look alike Recaros when my newly retrimmed seats go back in.

- Like new, no rips, tears, stains etc
- Sides built up with stronger foam as the original stuff came away from the frame (so stronger than original!)
- Reclinable
- Come with rails and mounts to suit RA28
- ADR approved I think? (seats originally shipped from over seas)

$500 the pair (with rails) ONO

Would prefer local pick up but willing to ship at buyers expense

Bryce

Im not sure of exact mesuments, but because these seats are made for a FW drive car (the clelica having a RW drive floor pan), they sit high enough for me to be able to see over the bonet! Im 5ft 8" and and still have a good couple of inches between my head and the roof.

Large people may have trouble getting in and out of the drivers side if your using them in an RA28 (unless u have a smaller steering wheel?)

Im puting the stock ones back in (but retrimed and boulstered up) because i want to keep a more original look to the interior and also cause my dad has alot of trouble getting in and out of the car lol!

The RA28 dosnt exactly have the roomiest cabin lol Laughing They look tall because of the way the mounts sit in the celica. In a newer car, or a fwd car, theyd sit much lower.
