yeah, i got a mate from work with one... f***en nice... took me for a spin, and save for the fact it had an open diff... it handled quite nice... after a quick run up the road and back, my feet were very firmly planted in the floor...

oh, his was modified too... 201rwKw

i say do it.. i'm going 1G into my RA28 atm... you won't regret it... only suggestion i can make, is get a front cut... saves all that extra money stuffing around... anyway... i've seen (auto) front cuts cheaper then what i paid for engine, manual box, ecu and loom...

to the best of my knowledge... he chipped the ecu, fitted exhaust, FMIC, wound the boost right up... running 15psi i think... 'bout as high as the stock turbos will go... and i think he said it had a SARD/TRD clutch/flywheel combo... came with the frontcut... $3000 worth of clutch in a $2500 frontcut...

Clearly you haven't been on here too much.

There's only like 10000000000 GA23's here now.

On JCMF's behalf

"201rwkw on stock turbos. Sure he did. Rolling Eyes I'm not even expecting that from my Blitz BAG turbos. We REALLY need to stop all these operators going around sticking the temperature sensor for the dyno in the exhaust housing. No No No "

LMAO...

Yeah I'd like to see that too! I've got a custom front mount, 3" zorst, blitz turbos and still only mangaed 150rwkw with stock management. 160rwkw with a mines chiped ECU. Can't wait for aftermarket Wink

Cheers,
Kirk

don't worry... i never saw and dyno graphs... but if he only had 150KW then i'm gonna go psycho with that under my pants... his car was pretty damn quick...

i'm only going on what he said... and 15psi is the max for those CT12s... may not be 201kw... but it's gotta be close

13.1 111mph
168rwkw, but then again dyno's are crap for power figures as I had 2 power runs at 2 different places and there was 30kw difference.

and as for the start of this topic - "can I put a 1g into a celica?".... do a search, very surprised this thread wasn't deleted, has been covered to death
