Gunmetal 1990 ST182 Corona EXIV Tue, 04 May 2004 13:58 Go to next message
This is my new baby...

Shes a 1990 Toyota ST182 Corona EXIV FE sedan, running the 3S-FE 2.0L engine and 4-speed automatic
Though fully imported, I am the second Australian owner, as it was imported here in 1995.

I bought it pretty much as it sits now for $7995 (minus $1000 trade on my old faithful KE55), with 101,000km on the clock.

Some of the mods include:

*16x7 ALT Mags, with 205/50x16 Falken Ziex tyres
*Koni adjustable front suspension
*Strut brace (could be stock?)
*Rear bootlid spoiler with LED brake lights
*MOMO woodgrain/leather combination steering wheel
*Panasonic CQ-DP383W CD/MP3/WMA player head unit
*Warlock immobiliser

Nice car mate, if I ever see it cruising round the Gold Coast I'll give ya a toot!

Looking forward to seeing it and meeting you on a cruise sometime......pity it can't be this weekend! (See thread on my car)

Cheers,

funny you should say it looks like a S13 Silvia, pretty much everyone who I have spoken to, that has seen the car says the same thing (as much as the idea disturbs me Twisted Evil , I think it has a lot to do with the headlights (mine has integrated fog lights too) and the tail lights.
It is indeed a FWD, running the trusty 3S-FE engine, and I have come to agree that the strut brace is a stock toyota item.

Thanks for the comments thus far, any other comments would be appreciated Smile

Cheers

Dan

yeh, i found out today...the 3S-FE and 4S-FE are very similar, except that i have the square tops..... my leads cost anywhere between $105, to $253! but i've seen your leads, which are more popular for about 80.

i'll post pics up by next week, i need to give her a nice wash first, but can only do that after my exams finish on tuesday.

it's the same as this one
http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~uv2t-adc/cars/st190q.h tm

except i dont have the front fogs. i'm looking around for a set like that though, coz it looks awesome
