I've got a good one.
Theres two rooms, one has 3 lights in it, the other has 3 switches in it. You have to match up the correct light with the correct switch in the other room. You can Only use the switches once and you can only look in the other room once after you have used the switches. (P.S when in one room, you can't see into the other room and you can't cause anty damage to the bulbs or the switches)

three guys order some tofu. the delivery boy arrives with tofu, after a slight delay due to illegal street racing, and charges them $30 then leaves. when he gets back to the shop the boss tells him he fukd up the bill was only $25 so he gives him 5 $1 coins to take back. as he is returning he realises that he cant split the $5 evenly between the three guys but figures coz they didnt tip him in the first place he will keep $2 and give them $1 each change. he does so. so three guys paid $9 each to total $27 and the delivery boy has $2, but 27 +2 = 29.

The men have collectively paid 27 dollars for the pizza, which is obvious, since the pizzaboy took $2 and the actual cost was $25. And so we see that there is no missing dollar, because the $27 the men paid is a debt, written as a negative number, and the $2 the pizzaboy took is a profit, which is a positive number, and the sum is not $29, but a debt of $25, which was paid to the Boss.
To exaggerate the example, suppose the cost of the pizza is $5, the pizzaboy taking $22, the men getting $3. Then it becomes clear that the $27 that the men wind up paying for the pizza "plus" the $22 the pizzaboy takes just doesn't equal anything meaningful. What's going on is that $22 of the $27 that the men pay has wound up in the pizzaboy's pocket, so adding $22 to $27 is in essence counting the pizzaboy's money twice.
