SSR Mk1 14 x 7, Dished for Drift SOLD Mon, 30 May 2005 00:36 Go to next message
PAIR of genuine SSR 14x7 in +10 offset.

I bought these wheels for $330 delivered from Option 1 Garage only a few months ago.
I had to have the holes for the nuts re-drilled out to fit any wheels nuts I could find locally. Also had new valve stems fitted.
They were originally polished to a very nice finish, but I painted them a gunmetal as I got bored with them.

The paint is very easy to remove with some paint stripper and wheels could be returned to their polished state easily.

Tyres fitted are Toyo Trampio 195/60/14. These are perfect for the back of an 86, with perfect amount of grip and slip. Around 80% rubber.

I am chasing around the $300 mark for the pair including rubber. Located in SA, but shipping would be possible if I removed the rubber.

When they were polsihed (note nice fitment on AE86, no spacers used):

After being painted fitted on the back with rubber

THESE ARRE NOW SOLD

Thanks, Sean.

They would have some pretty serious negative offset. Would sit outside the standard gaurds.
It could be done, would need a cleanup to make them look pretty.

They are fitted to the back in the second picture.

Arch: Think of it this way, with these rims on the front atleast you wont get the dish covered in brake dust Smile

I will have some decent shots in detail by the weekend.

Other than that look at the top line of the option1garage website, they looked like that when I bought them.

I did them myself.

If you are having trouble finding people to do it try Galaxy Wheels, but expect to wait a while for them to be finished.

will steve shave my nuts for a small fee? Laughing

on a serious note, my Mark1s needed to have the holes taken out slightly, but i just filed them out, it was really minor as i was lucky enough to find some shiny nuts that fit in.

Yeah they only need a small part taken out the fit the smallest nut that say Speedy etc make.
I just used a big drill at my dads work and just gave the holes a quick bore out.

More pics later today

Tell me about it. Everyone here winges that there are no deep dish low offset wheels available for AE86, and when a nice pair come up (at a good price too) no one fronts up.

And you people call yourselves enthusiasts No No No

gl with sale sean, btw do the local 86ers that dont come on the forums know that these are for sale? put the word out, better to keep the rims local anyways Wink

Wicked tyres on the back Smile
They have enough grip that you can get some handling out of them, but spin like crazy when you want. Really hard compound and lasts forever..

On my Enkeis I have a pair of 185's that has seen many hard days (I think steve put them on over a year ago and they were on the front of Jonos car for a while) They are only just starting to die now.

The 195s on these wheels I bought second hand for $30 each, and were only on the back for about a week.
Same story as my other pair. Cant praise them enough Smile
