slippin clutch on the sx	Tue, 26 July 2005 15:04

HI ppl, gt issue with my sx, my clutch is slippin, after 5000rpm it doesnt have wheelspin, can some1 advise me that my clutch is wasted and need new one or it can be adjusted. beneficial info will be appreciated. [Report message to a moderator]

hey man, thats definately stuffed if it slips when you feed power once its engaged. Don't think you can adjust SX clutches much either because they are hydraulic. It just so happens that i have an exedy heavy duty clutch from my SX before i did the conversion if your interested Its only like 30% worn and still clamped like a mofo. yeh dude, single plate daikin / exedy HD -30% more clamping force -organic face Gimme email addy if you want a pic. I just want it to make someone else as happy as it made me, i actually managed to snap a right side driveshaft at the CV joint with it slamming second at 8000rpm around a roundabout.
