just a quick question out there for anyone that can help.
Considering putting united boost 98 fuel in the GT4.
Its alot cheaper than Optimax, ultimate etc but its got a 10%ethanol level in it, hence why its cheaper.
Heard some good and bad things about the ethanol, e.g cleans the engine out, but also increases engine temp, therefore in a turbo car, its not that good.
Can anyone clarify this for me, as the GT4 is a pig,and this would work out alot cheaper for me.
Any other pro's and cons on the fuel would be good.
Thanx.

never heard of the stuff, the problem with ethanol is its never 100% anhydrous meaning it always contains some water.
Generally its not really a problem, and in brazil they use up to 30% ethanol blend although when holden ships cars there they modify them to accept it.
