Hey Cri ag, Ours just rocked in. The packaging had had a hard time but the braces look OK. There is a slight scuff on one, but i think it might be some left over aluminium polish. We'll have a closer look once i get em to you (Ill let you have the pleasure of unwrapping the plastic off yours Very Happy ). I cant bring em round or take them home today, as the sprinner is not on the road, But i will try and get that sorted tonight so i can transport these bad boys.
Otherwise i will get a mate to drop em at my house tomorrow arvo, so you can come round and pick em up.

got both mine on, will post a coupla picks tomoz when i put the trim back in the rear.
those rear pics are a bit different to mine, mine is slightly back more, not that it matters i spose.

driving the car i can notice the front brace, cant notice the rear yet as its only been around town driving, but i wasnt expecting too much from the rear one.

Hey!

Got mine today, they look sweet. I put the front one in but i haven't put the rear one in yet as i'm a little confused... looking at the above pics of it mounted in the rear is different to mine... um. i've got covers over the wheel arches where cups click in above the strut tops. Do i HAVE to remove this or can i work around it? also, are there already bolts at those positions like in the pic? annoying questions i know, but any advice greatly appreciated.

Oh! one more thing. How tight should I have the bar in the front tightened against the brackets? the bolts have a rubber piece at the end. Is this to stop me tightening any further or just to make it extra tight when the bolt passes through? cheers.

I'd also like to thank Tarek, he's been a champ. If it were me copping all the questions and queries i would have gone bald through stress Smile

- You will have to remove the covers around the wheel arches to attach the brace, but you may beable to cut piece of the cover out after you have put in the brace to make the cover sit nicely around the brace.

- No there are no bolts in that postion already. You MUST drill through ur chassis and place a bolt and nut through the brace and the chassis then bolt it toghther. (PS: I also used larger bolts then the bolt holes on the brace, As i wanted to use larger bolts.)

- Tighten the front bar bolts all the way up. No point in having the brace if its loose.
- And as ".wolfwood" said those little rubber bits are to stop the nuts from coming undone.

You also may want sum1 to help you wen bolting in the rear brace. Though i did mine by my self Wink

hey,

Cheers DRFTAE86, appreciate the advise. what's the best way to work out where exectly you've lined up the bar when your looking at the underside? sure i can get a vague guestimate based on the shape of the thing and the alignment of the bar in the boot. How did you do it?

thanks again.
