Ported 18RG 88250 head for sale Tue, 19 July 2005 09:21 Go to next message
I have my current 18RG head for sale, it is the one with the specs below, but willnot come with the the springs, cams or ferrea valves, i can supply the std valves to suit tho.
Will need to be K-lined as the ferrea stems are 0.020" bigger than the standard valves, {should be done anyway}

i have decided to go with the 88270 head for my new engine.

it has been professionally ported by Melvins Automotive and Performance in Townsville,

Head can come bare or can supply all the stuff to make a whole head {buckets, springs, cams ect ect}

i should be able to supply a copy of my cams if u want {for a small price}, as i will probably get my work to make a Master if i manage to root these ones.

head vacuums up fine, last time i sent a head to melbourne it cost $45 which included $600 insurance

if u want, i can supply cheap VRS sets to go with the engine

Bummer, We've had one leak and blow bubbles through the radiator, but we've never blown one.

Good luck with the sale, I reckon it's a good buy for anyone who already doesn't have too many 18RG heads Very Happy
