Choosing shocks/struts... Fri, 29 July 2005 21:42 Go to next message
Quick question - would anybody have any idea whether a KYB AGX shock/strut will out-last a cheaper alternative?

Said car (not the mx13) isn't driven hard but I do appreciate it feeling good. I run decent h-rated unidirectional tires...

With KYB AGX's can I trust them to last? I'm not going to be frustrated to think I only got 2yrs out of them? It'd be nice to get 5 yrs of worry-free out of something like that... is it possible when not abused? I didn't abuse the previous set of brand-X and they were worthless within a year...

Thanks.

i have nromal KYB's in the rear of my car, and i drive it pretty hard and they are fine. They are made in japan for starters so that helps with quality. KYB's are good i reckon go for em.
