ok so the yokes are the same from r154 to a340e. Well i was about to get a manual tailshaft for my conversion. Got him to measure it up and it was 1290. Same length as my auto one. So i am rather confussed as to what is different [Report message to a moderator]

Manual tailshafts are usually about 80mm longer than auto ones. Give or take a bit. [Report message to a moderator]

ok so the guy i was talkin to must have been trying to sell me an auto one then as a manual tailshaft. hmm dunno? Any idea who i could try and locate a manaul tailshaft from then? [Report message to a moderator]

The shaft I measured is a MAN one . The correct place to measure a shaft is from centre of uni to centre of uni not from end to end. [Report message to a moderator]
