the only experience i have had with nitrous, was when my wisdom teeth were removed, and i was put under anaesthetic by n2o. i must say, it was anything but piss weak. it was the best trip evar! lots of echoing noises, bright lights, and giggling.
but definitely not good for you on a regular basis.
lets just say im looking forward to the next time i need surgery.

LOL! I actually haven't tried it personally (I wish to remain an anal virgin) but a gay mate reckons "poppers" (amyl) and Viagra are the go.

with a hit of NOS you should've been doing at least low 9's...
you might have engine (cardio) problems!

What about setting up a monifold of bulbs on a lawn mower, not necessarily ride on, for those stubborn weeds. If it was a ride on and you did "pop da manifold welds" you probably wouldn't need the amyl nitrate.

I can't beleive only one other person knows of it as "nanging"!
It's the biggest geek drug there is. Nerdy dudes playing with there computers getting high off the shiznit is not a sight I wanna see.
As for hazards, it can kill you, just like Helium can, only N2O also affects your nervous system. Any gas in non-atmospheric partial pressure can kill you. Your breathing reflex is dictated partially by a lack of oxygen in your lungs, and primarily by a surplus of CO2. Hence if you exahale, then inhale any pure gas you lose any desire to breath. It is somewhat reminiscent of an asthma attack. Note also that oxygen also becomes toxic in atmospheric air above a pressure of about 9bar (for any SCUBA divers out there thinking about diving below 80m without trimix).
Just thought I'd better get some facts out there to allay the bullshit.
PS. I pity the fool who inhales soda bulbs and pretends to get high! [/MrT voice]

"Very little" to quote him. Lets just say, their is a increase in noise coming from the front, not much else
Hes currently working on two stage system and maybe adding a little more fuel.

Nang nang nang nang - I've always known it as this since it's the sound it makes when you are on the gas.
Hunty's anecdotes sound very familiar . I too had the post-rave bulbinator frenzies - managing to crack the seal on the whipped cream bulbinator from overuse and finally buying one of those anodised aluminium ones from an antique store. Ahh the memories, buying N20 by the crate at Korruption, early sunday raids on Caltex Nth Adelaide, half-passing out and convulsing due to "triple bulbing", the freezing cold bulbs, the general state of disarray following too much N20.... such things to look forward to when the Alzheimers kicks in.
But I wouldn't do it again. Oddly addictive (most hallucinations feel like you're getting close to the source of all knowledge then you come back to reality, so you're always chasing the nang dragon to get the answers), it makes you feel shit the next day. A friend went utterly mad on the bulbs, doing it every day for a month and was seriously depressed/fucked up afterwards. It can be fun, but it can turn pretty ugly too.

Hands shaking, too spaced to get the bulb in the cage but coming down, popping when it's not in straight and getting icy spluttering n20 on you, cracking the bulbinator from overuse.....
I had friends who videotaped themselves bulbing for a while, watched it the next day and thought WTF!! Plenty of footage of them passing out, convulsaing, talking absolute shit and looking like dickheads. Went off it straight away (for a while at least) .
That caltex still sells it - probably sell more N2O than petrol.

This discussion is stupid and really has no place whatsoever on a car forum.
