funni/wired temp gauge

oh k
this has just happened last week 2 me
my temp gauge is very funni
ive got a 20v corolla and gauge doesnt work sometimes , it like a boost gauge , like when i rev the car the temp goes up 2 how hot it is and when i clutch down it goes down 2 the bottom and when i reverse it goes down , it just plays around , it very funni
has this happen 2 anyone be4 ???

Temp guage could be stuffed, or could have come off the sensor.

asuming electric at both ends and output from ECU perhaps?

sorry i aint the best speller
yeh it acts like a oil pressure gauge
but mine has never worked be4
it was never like this be4
it just happened
i'll pull outthe dash on this weekend if i got time
