Dude, Sorry to hear that you've built yourself a nice lookin ZE and won't get to enjoy it.
I had a twinny as my first car and did the ZE conversion and all the other stuff that makes them so much fun, so its sad to realise that it can't be handed down to future generations!
On the other hand, Ironically, after about 2 yrs of building and and playing with my AE82 we came to grief with a Tele-pole and that was the end of that.
Guess thats why these new laws are so contreversal, either way, I reckon if it doesn't save your life It will probably save you lots of $$$.

I thought that if you already owned the car and could prove it, then they would show some leniency. I guess I have been misinformed.
