yeh i was thinking the same thing just make the whole longer but by the looks of things the rear end wouldn't of held up and the diff probably would have come out before the car flipped

once they got that tail shaft that unscrews it was pretty good.

I think it's busted. Don't think it would be possible to flip the car like that. Any faster and it'd just rip the driveshaft out harder, or rip the whole diff out. Don't think there's much chance of it flipping, unless you're going down hill perhaps.
Good thing my drivetrains go sideways. No chance of this happening to me!

haha, yeh but where would you be if it happened while you were trying to get the lancer sideways!! would be easier to roll a car sideways than lengthways 8<P

Myth isn't busted
Talk to Phil TurboTe72 ( or what eva name he goes by)
His Te72 was written off when his tail shaft snapped and pol;e vaulted the car on to its roof.
I don't think standard cars would flip but high power ones with sturdy diffs might!!! and do!!!!

flip, I doubt it!!!
mabey cause the car to loose control and/or roll..
also a light car with a strong tailshaft would have more chance of flipping.....but not that massive barge, it must have weighed over 2 tonne..

I know of someone that was killed in Bundaberg a few years ago in a n XC falcoon. Drag racing on the main road outside town when the tail shaft let go and fliped the car over.

it can and has happened!hence why racecars have to use tailshaft loops. its not just to stop it hitting the driver.imagine hard on the brakes on the track with engine braking, and front tailshaft breaks,be the perfect recipe.i think they messed that mythbusting up.
