Apparently a MkIII Supra steering wheel will fit on a MkII, which means it will fit on your Celica as well. I remember there was some discussion about this on the CelicaSupra forums a while back.

I'm thinking of putting a Chaser Touring V wheel in my SA63 as it was given to me by a mate... Only problem is that the splines and the horn ring doesn't fit so I'm looking at a way to fix the problem...
Cheers.

well, i had to hook up the old horn ring from the ma61 wheel to the ma70 wheel, and had to drill two holes for the blinker switch thingie. not really too bad, just gotta be competent with a drill

If the splines don't fit it's a no-go. You could get your column re-splined but that would cost more than a good aftermarket wheel.

mine was $30 from the wreckers, but, mind you the leather was rooted. best find a supra forum or put an add on here for ma70 owners who are replacing their stock wheel with an aftermarket one
after then, ill do a writeup. i'm actually getting a new one instead of paying $300 to get it recovered... ill let you know
but, you pretty much use horn components from the ra60/ma61 wheel, and drill two holes for the blinker assembly. thats it, really. perhaps file plastic steering column down a bit, as the m70 wheel scrapes a little....
but, ill give you more details with pictures soon
