V6 Spark Plugs

I'm going to be replacing the spark plugs in my V6 Camry soon. I was wondering what people opinions are on different spark plugs. I currently have NGK Iridiums's atm. They seem to get fouled quicker than normal plugs. Any suggestions on what sorta plugs to get, and wether any type of "performance plug" is possible.
Thanks

I often like to use 'ordinary' plugs in most cars, but then the FWD V6s can be a bit of a bugger to replace plugs in, which is why a lot of people use platinum etc.

get just standard denso or NGK. the iridiums are fouling becuase its probably runnignn too rich... dont forget that plat and idiium plugs need ot be taken out and cleaned... so you may as well just change to new plugs instead... about $3 a pop from auto stores. works out to be cheaper anyway.
get a 3" extension on a sparkplug socket on a ratchet, youll want this for the 3 rear plugs.. make sure its got the rubber to grip the plug as well.

Problem is yeah I believe the top part of the intake manifold has to come off to get to them.. Hence the need for the plugs to last longer..

no it doesnt, its possible to reach behind.
theres no point using platinum plugs because they have a cleaning service interval just as often as changing normal plugs, you may as well get cheap plugs and just replace them instead.

just use the stock plugs, which i think you will find are platinums.
fit and forget
they dont have a cleaning schedule.
if they are fouling, try looking for the problem....

plats last longer but you should clean then at the usual sparky change interval. loss of power etc etc heck gap la di da,
just becuase they last longer doesnt mean you cant keep an eye on them.
plats foul up/dirty as fast as any other sparkies, its a 20 minute job i dont see whats so hard.
the local mechanic here charges $25 to change 6 plugs.... so if ya lazy, get someone else to do it.

I think the point he is trying to make is they shouldn't be fouling up.
