Hey has anyone here ever transported a car from Melb to Sydney?
What sort of prices did you pay?
I need to get something transported but the prices I have been quoted are scary!

I've heard $150 for the opposite trip from Matt at Toyospares, (goes by Fastfoo on here). I was quoted $400 Bris to Melb too, so I think 150-200 would be realistic for Melb->Syd.

Toll Autotrans - $420 depot to depot. Car must be driveable.

Your car? If so, I'll drive it for you  but you would need too fork out for can-melb and syd-canb flights, and fuel, might be cheaper on a truck!!

be carefull geting it sent on truck, some tend to pull the car down onto the bump stops (so they can fit taller car's on top) and it has been known to bend cars

All sorted now... I drove the stupid thing from Melb to Sydney.
I wouldn't have thought twice about driving my car there but this thing was an old shitbox which broke down on me near Benalla!
