gday guys at the moment im doing the head gasket on my 18RG but the bore is scratched to buggery and it doesnt go hard enough for my liking so im thinking of putting a 302 V8 into it as i dont have the money for a 1G so i was wondering how hard it is to fit in.

Make sure its legal before thinking any further.

Then when you know its legal get out the tape measure.

If your in queensland the largest motor you can fit in a RA23 3.1 ltr N/A or 2.4 ltr forced as the RA23 is under 1100 kg , I think QLD and NSW are in line with these regulation.
