what do you think about a black boot too?
cos mine is rusted real bad and if i bog it up i wont be able to match the faded yellow so i could go black or is that going too far?

Honestly I think yellow is the worst colour those RA60s came out in. So the black bonnet is a plus in this case
If you are respraying, consider a two tone jobbie like :
Also as CoFF said... these hatches are hell with rust. When repairing, do a really good job.

yeah i took that pic with the clouds. it was down at lower light.it looks better in full size.
yeah i might look at a full spray job. still keep the black bonnet though and get the original yellow one sprayed with the rest.
what do u guys think of a panda ra60??

Panda action for 80's celicas hrrmmmm mine is black and white but i reckon if i was to repaint and was spending like $1 - 2K
id go a darkish lime green with gunmetal gray 2 tone
might sound odd but it would look good in my mind

Hey ViPeR_NiPPleX love that two tone job!!! Loos so awesome! Love the flares too, that would be something that I would like to do on my RA65 at one stage. Damn straight about the tailgate, pretty dodgy piece of engineering, don't think I have seen an original yet without rust.
Have to also agree with you and say that yellow is the worst colour those RA60's came out in, that and that light brown (shit brown). But that bonnet does spark it up a little, you almost forget that the rest of the car is yellow
