Hello every one,
Iam looking at selling my 1974 Ta22 Celica. Ive owned this car for about 6 months now but and i will be sad to see such a nice car go but i really need a a bigger car!
The car is in PERFECT condition, any one who has seen it will be able to confirm, It is 100% orignal! Info ON car-
*Full Respray in Sting Red
*Zenetti Teck 17inch chronies with brand new tyres
*Interior is in PERFECT orignal Condition, White Vinyl!
*Alpine Head Deck, Ken wood 6 inch 3 ways in front, 6*9 In back adn topped off with 2 sony xplode 12 inch subs in boot, powered by a 800w amp!
* I bought the car of an elderly owner and the car has only done 27000kms!
I cant strees it enough, this car is in 100% Perfect orignal Condition! You will never find a 31 year old car in such condition
Alot of Work has been put into this car to get it back to orignal condion.
Chasing 5000$ Firm
May Also consider trade for something bigger! But not really into any other celica models!

2.whyd it would have needed a lot of work to get it back to original condition?

Got the service books?
Every old man I know keeps meticulous logs of his car's service history. Otherwise you're just a mouthpiece and/or wound back the km's.
The interior looks like a retrim, I've seen LOTS of TA-22's and I know enough about things like paint fade and vinyl aging to know that unless it hasn't seen sunlight in the past 31 years it's gonna need a retrim.
Also, if it hasn't been retrimmed (as you are implying), why was the red "shitty"... it would have been SHOWROOM condition due to garaging all it's life.
How much did you pay for the car a whole 6 months ago? (let's wait for the bs figure here... my guess is around oh... 7k?)
Any old car that's only done 27000 original km's wouldn't need any work. It hasn't gone far enough to develop rattles and squeaks.

i think i have sold the car to a serious buyer.. I think ill just stik to trading post from now on so i dont get dickhead who dont belive a word u say and try question you about everything.
And fuck any paint thats 31 year old is shitty.. woudlnt u preffer HSV sting red rather then some dodgy stoko 31 year old toyota colour.
And yes mate the interior is orignal and it is PERFECT, except for the dash!
So unless ur interested keep ur comments to ur self!

hey ive seen this car the dash is th only problem with th intirior the rims are mad with th car and a car thats been around for 31 years and is as tidy as that deserves a new paint job so keep ure pathtic comments to your self!!

A couple of weeks ago when i was talking to the owner about buying this car he said that the drivers door had just been smashed in. what happened with that? Is that why the drivers door is'nt shown in the pics?

ill just add one more, those rims look shit i hope ud take them off when u sold them because i would feel ashamed to drive with them i think they are a bit ricey for an old classic in such good condition u say it is, nice car.
