any plastic/rubber garden hose will deteriorate after too much UV

a while back i bought some real good braided green hose from bunninngs, it didnt kink like the cheap shit. lasted good in the sun, though i normaly rolled it up and chucked it in the shed.
you can normaly tell a good garden hose by feeling the thickness of the wall when you twist it etc. over the cheap shit you would find at silly solly's.

There is a black with oranhe hose avainable from bunnings, about $40 roll with brass fittings. Been out in the yard for 3+ years now, bever leaked,no deterioration. Even in the heat/cold doesnt go soft or hard.

get the hose that is curly hose like off an air compressor, you can buy that hose already with the specific fittings, it curls right up, doesnt tangle, and is much easier to use. I found that it lasted longer than our normal hose in the sun as well....
I guess you could always get it braided metal too, expensive but it would work...

the braided metal ones are good, that or try one of the flat hoses had no experience with them but they sound alright and usually come on a real type thing.

"Pope" 18 metre long, 12 mm hose (for those interested, yes you can use for 'bong' purposes), bloody copper fittings - not dodgy plastic (NICE!!!), black and orange in colour not ugly green, 10 year warranty (so all you guys are invited to come over after 9 years to run over it with ur cars to kink up the hose!) FROM Bunnings.
Damage was ... $35
I didn't want to buy the $7 - $10 hose .. probably last 2 weeks.
Thanks heaps for the feedback guys !

the " premiere " i bet
we sell em by the pallet at work - never had one returned ( i do the returns and warranties , so id know )
Anything nylex/pope are generally your best bets - never go for generics - they suck testicles
mine are about 29.95 dollars on special with brass fittings by memory - but thats mitre 10 though
