Gen3 1GGTE turbos Tue, 09 August 2005 13:59 Go to next message
Hey all,

I've got a set of Gen3 1GGTE turbos. Just the turbos themselves, I can throw in the dump pipe itself also but you'll need to supply oil and water lines. Turbos themselves seem in decent condition.

Make me an offer around the $200 mark and they're yours, I will ship to anywhere in Australia at buyers expense.

Cheers,
Nathan

Easiest sign is if it's blowing any smoke. Secondly, you could remove the inlet pipes from the turbos and have a feel of the compressor wheel for any shaft play, if it's enough to produce a marked decrease in power, it'll feel obvious.

Oh, and they do make a massif whine Razz

Depending on whats up with my car, I may need them...

I know someone said that gen 2 and 3 manifolds are different, but are the turbos different?

Will I be able to attach gen 3 turbos to a gen 2 1G?

Cheers,
James

ps: Just a question at this time, i dont know whats really wrong with my car as of yet. but we'll see... lol

if it's turbos that are rooted and these fit, expect PM's Smile

The turbos will bolt to the manifolds, but they will require slotting of the inlet pipes. I only have the front inlet pipe, I can give you that though.

Ask Hydra about installing Gen3 turbos on the earlier inlet pipes Razz

Pics as promised, sorry for the delay guys. As described earlier, they are missing the lines and one of the inlet pipes, but are otherwise fine. They are usually covered up.
