I don't see why u wouldn't be able to... What happens if i bought it for a mate for his birthday or something like that and u give him the recipts.. i'm pretty sure u can do it because i have done it before with an xbox with a mate.. sold it to him and then about a month later he over heated it and took it back and still had warranty on it..

Not sure if i can hold it ey, i've got another couple of ppl interested in it as i've got this posted on another couple of forums...
i'm sending my car into Gem Auto to get done on Tuesday and if i don't sell the headunit by then i'm just going to keep it and upgrade the speakers, but if i do sell it then i'll change the headunit as well.

i went and spoke to gem auto today, they do all the warranty work on JVC gear in Coffs Harbour and they said that the Warranty is transferable.

If u want to come and have a look at it your more than welcome.

hey mate if u wanted it it'd have to be this weekend, cuz gem is going to fit it out on Tuesday and if i've still got the headunit by then there just going to fit out new speakers and an another amp. It doesn't bother me if i don't get rid of it it's just that if i do i have the chance to upgrade.. the headunit is in perfect condition, only been in there for 4 months and has 7 months warranty left on it.
