MA70 Dash into SA63

hey as the title says i have heard of people doing this to there 84 celicas and i was wondering if it is a straight swap over or is there alot of customisation needed.
becasue i have found some one selling the whole setup, dash centre console, gear stik housing and cluster for $200 and was wondering if there is anyone out there who has done this or knows anything about it. or am i just imagning things....

It would be a shiteload of work if you wanted it to look any good, even if the dimensions are similar (which they might not be). What would be the point exactly?

Yes, its been done before
To a hideous kermit green SA63 and the dash was painted ferrari red (I shit you not)
It was shortened a bit, maybe 3" ?
Couldn't tell easily though.

yes i saw that piece of crap too lol fancy having a hang over and driving it lol you would chuck all over the dash lol.
but yeah i just felt like it was a good idea but i think i will just forget about the whole thing as i was looking at the half cut today and saw nothing alike to the celica.
