ae 86 or honda accord???

the other day i saw wat i thoguth was a ae86 but it was a honda accord now im not sure wat sort of engine it is, but im pretty sure it was almost the same shape the lights front and back were almost identical not form close inspection but u get my idea. so i was thinkin couldnt ppl jsut buy a honda accord and use the shell then put a bigger engine into and wat not plus you'd get the bonus feature of a sunroof and all the other stuff honda's have

tru but if ur gonna go to the effort of doin an engine conversion then makin it rear wheel drive wont be such a hassle just make sure u got a welder and an angle grinder and a f ew other things h

why your at it why not start with a Gazelle hatch or better yet a starion, they look very similar and are actually RWD.

i have seen the white accord in question many a time whilst cruising in corona_crew's hood. it does look remarkably like an ae86. as for turning one into a corolla i dont believe it could be done. but i am sure that one could be dabadged and a TRD sticker be placed some where and sold to a chump as an ae86 (with added takumi tax ofcourse)

Some guy in America converted an Integra to RWD using CRV bits. Its not something i'd go and do but it could only make the DC2 a better car.
As for making something into a Corolla, why would you bother? For the money you could buy a real freaking 86, and a Truneo GT Apex at that!
