hey guys i just read that is300's had 2jzge's stock is this true i thought they had 3sge's?

RS200 has the BEAMS 3s-ge
IS300 has the 2jz-ge
this is easy to tell - the numbers in the model name of the lexus are the displacement.
IS200 = 2L
IS300 = 3L
IS430 = IS200 with uz conversion

thanks heaps cuz i seen the artical in this month speed mag and it had a is300 converted to 2jzgte and they said stock it had a 2jzge( i thought wat the hell). nut 1 was wrong thanks for the help.

Yeah 2JZ-GE in the IS300. They would be totaly cool if you could you could get them in the 6 speed manual veriety, but you can't. They're only automatics, and according to a review I read, it sucks the power right outta 'em.

They come in Manual in teh states tho 
Just for interst, here ar some quick ones from teh states.
this one supposebly has 500rwhp
614rwhp
note, the first one is a conversion from the TT Supra, the otehr 2 are built IS300 2JZGE
