i few people told me tht 4age can take up to 10 to 12 psi ..
no mods just simple turbo installation
will a blox 12:1 FMu will be fine for 6 psi of boost .

running aftermarket engine management (microtech etc)and having someone that 'knows' what they are doing tune it.
i run a gze ECU set-up on my 4age-gte, but i lowered the c/r a bit because the ECU is not tuneable.

i'm running the aw11 bigport 4agze ECU, 365cc injectors, AFM, fuel pressure reg, dist, wiring harness etc on my bigport 4age (9.4:1 casties but useing a 2 HG's, approx 2.6mm) @ 12psi. i still useing the old original 4age fuel pump at the moment too.
i know nothing of add on ECU doobies (BLOX FMU 12:1??) as i havnt had the $$$ or the need yet to look into them.

havnt had it checked since i've been running 12psi, and it's been flogged HEAPS at 12psi.

Quote: | BLOX FMUs
The Blox fuel management unit is designed to increase the fuel pressure as the pressure in the intake manifold increases. The Blox FMU is a universally design product with a 12:1 fixed ratio. The FMU is used on fuel injected vehicles, either supercharged or turbocharged, using the factory electronic engine management system. Blox FMU’s are available in blue, red, gold and gun metal.

what are you talking about?? you sound like you have much better drugs than me
the above is a fuel pressure regulator.. manifold reference pressure at top, fuel ports at bottom... it's even priced like a FPR??

Mate you would be surprised how much of caining a car can take pistons are strong, the only thing that kills engines is detonation and leaning out, if the stock injectores, fuel pump and fuel regulator are good enough to deliver enough fuel its fine. For god sake I know some one that has turboed a 120y and a dirty old corolla that had like a 1.3 or some thing and made it fuel injected with mircotec and tuned it so it didn’t detonate and he super charged it and it went hard as. Good luck but I don’t know much about the 4ages as im asking as well im a Nissan man lol.
