The possition of the hand brake in that image is deceiving, the gear stick misses the hand brake by quite a distance and gives the drive easy access to both the brake and gear shift.
The car should be in full colour today, which means we will start putting it back together Friday, with the hope of having it running net week.

The turbo manifold is professionally made but is not a "name" brand as such.
The other question I am not sure what exactly you are asking, sorry.
But Cheers for the apreciation.

The wheels that are on the car atm are purely just to move it around, it will be running 17x9 FR17 Simmons fronts and 18x12 FR18 Simmons rears

Nice looking turbo. I really love the look of the TO4S 0.70 front housing. What are the specs for the rest of the turbo. I assume it's a GT30 or GT35. I'm really interested because I'm putting a TO4S on my 3S at the moment.

jon, i used to run a gt 3040 on my 3sgte in an mr2 sw20, and with only minimal head work,it ran a rear housing .82 as well, and it was on full song by 4000 anyway, so its not like it will be very laggy, if you plan to rev past 9000, thats 5000+ useable rpm of boost

But when we take it out to the drags, different story, enter 15x10 295x50x15 MT drag slicks, into well weighted 750kg sprinter, wheel stand city.

Hey Guys
Yes the car was supposed to be at the G1, no it did not make it due to the SH engine we had in it having some bearing issues.
As far as the wheels go, you have not recieved any updates or images because there is nothing to show, the wheels arrived on friday at 12.30pm after waiting 4 months for them, only to be made incorrectly, yes thats right, 4 month wait and oooppps sorry about that we made them back to front, or should that be inside out, so they dont fit by some 55mm,
So my appologies for not getting the images to you but there was nothing to take pics of, when I have the correct wheels, not like the images will show shortly with 55mm of spacers, you will be the first to get the pics, I promise
Cheers

Bummer about the engine , lots of those motors converted to rwd down here have ended ther life the same way . Took one guy three engines to discover why it keeps happening .Did it get close to the power expected ? What is wrong with the wheels on the car in the pictures ? they look to fit ok there.

Hey
The wheels on the fitted to the car in the photos are an unknown quantum, with 85mm of spacers inside of them and 235/45 tyres fitted, so they would not serve any benefit in measurement, the ones we have on the front ATM are 17x9 with 215x45 on them, but agin the offset is wrong so they are not a certain basis to go off , but they do clear lock to lock.
As far as the engine goes there was issues from first start up, and the maximum the engine made was 57rwkw at 5000rpm @ 6psi, so something was way wrong with it from the start.

Just an up date of how it was supposed to have looked at G1 had it have made it.
My engine builder is coming up today to start on the engine, so with any luck we should be back on the track later this year to get some set up done for next years series.
More images as it happens.
