and that day is this weekend! Laughing

how come the power steering? I thought my 23 needed power steering but it turned out it was a combination of horrible wheel alignment and flattish tyres. Now it's really easy to steer.

Nice car man, good to see another nice classic celica in SA, and another one at UNI SA.

What campus are you at?

There are two RA28's connected with Mawson Lakes that I know of.

howdy,
I've changed a fair bit on my car since i first posted this topic so i thought id give u an update.

Re-trimmed doors and behind each door
Fully reconditioned the carbies
New clutch

Just this monday i got it back from the crash repairer from getting my spoiler all fixed up (the rust got pretty bad).
At the moment my back seat is at the trimmer and when that gets back ill give him the fronts.

Put in an alarm and immobiliser

And lastly, yesterday i ordered in some performance 15x7 wheels and 4 225/50/15 tyres so it looks decent for small car sunday at the end of the month.

Fair bit of difference with the new trim Razz
http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~bhuntley/images/speaker1.jpghttp://homepages.ihug.com.au/~bhuntley/images/trim1.jpg

Door handles are black now but heres the new door trim
http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~bhuntley/images/trim2.jpg

The carbys
http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~bhuntley/images/carbys.jpg
And these are the wheels im getting
http://performancewheels.com.au/images/0206_super_lite_wheels.jpg

Ill put up pics of the back seat and the fixed spoiler when i get them.

Cheers

Aww you should have kept the stock trim and just srayed it black with some vinyl spray... although that wouldnt have helped with mounting the 6x9 in the back...

Black unterior is nice... ive got a yellow RA28 that ive just stripped the entior interior out of and is about half way through becoming black Very Happy

Should be a bit quicker with this in it:
http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~bhuntley/images/1g_from_soarer.jpg

And even quicker with a couple of these:

Here's a comparison between the stock turbo's and the new ones:
