Setting up sync and reference timing with wolf! Sun, 28 August 2005 10:33 Go to next message
Any clues on how to do this, the tuner i spoke to reckoned it was absolutly bullshit to set up and hard as to get started.
Is this correct?
Any easy known angles to attack it?
Steve

The software definately isn't as good as many other ECU's a lot of the time, but if I can manage to get it working, probably anyone can. Well, almost Razz

i dont do alot of wolfs so i think they suk ass

take it to an expert

i know on a nissan with an old stinger u had to move the crank sensor back 50 degrees

but the common thing with most aftermarket ecus

u set the crank to 60 degrees before top dead centre

then at that point the cylinder reference signal in the dizzy should line up or trigger

if u have a dizzy with leads after u set up the 60 degrees cyl reference u then turn crank to 20 degrees before top dead centre and make sure the rotor button lines up with no1 sparkplug lead

if u dont understand this take it to an expert or just keep spinin dizzy till it starts or till battery goes flat Smile
