I am just curious as to what diff is in the rear of the 80 series land cruiser?
I was thinking a G series rear end...would I be correct in assuming this?

No you would not be correct, they are bigger than that.
However the front end is G series, but it is not regular G series as the pinion is mounted on the high side of the crown wheel not the lower side as usual, basically the gear is cut the other direction.

it is a k series which is 9.5".
If its for a conversion forget it as they have the pinion offset.
