If the collector on the extractors are 60mm (toda)... what size pipes should i use to join on to that...? Are all exhaust pipes measured in inches or is it possible to get metric size pipes? If not should i use 2.5"(63.5mm)?
Also on a NA car is it true eliminate back pressure altogether AFTER the extractors... theres always people saying that it reduces torque down low but i've read else where that's not true.... Anyone actually understands the science behind all this? I thought the extractors was resposible for the scavenging effects and the rest is just to get the gas outta there...
Another question.. Has anyone used a straight through muffler thats really quite... like it really muffles out the sound...cuz my current (shitty 2") exhaust already really loud (easily over 100db maybe even 110db at idle, really F**ken loud at full throttle @ 6000+rpm) and its already got me plenty of unwanted attention... i'm seriously considering two mid section muffler + tail end muffler if i'm goin up to 2.5"
i'm really suprise how LOUD a 1600cc with cams and head work is....
I'm after every single bit HP + Drivability i can get on my worked 20v 4age.
Any help appreciated....

i just baught a 20v silver-top for my ae82 and am also contemplating what exhaust to put on.
im not sure if this is the right size, but im going to go with a 2.25" pipe straight though.
how does that sound? im after max power and torque.
