This icon appeared just after washing my car. engine temp on the dash didnt go over half way and the oil cap is fine.
My car is a MR2 Turbo, 3SGTE GEN 2.
I can hear some bubbling noise comming from the radiator cap I believed my radiator cap is busted as its not holding pressure? what else could this mean?
thanks!

Could be it still drove fine but I was just scared as it didn't look like a check light but an overheating symbol. The engine has a fan lit up in red. isn't the check light normally orange only?
i've disabled the turbo pressure sensor plugged it off so it can go over 7Psi without fuel cutting.

happens in my soarer every now and again - i find that occasionally water will make its way into the engine bay, and will wet a connector giving a computer a bogus signal since now there is a bridged connection where its not meant to be. Just to be sure thats not ur prob, pop ur bonnet - err boot - and make sure all the connectors are dry (inside and out) and just check that no components have actually been soaked. .
