So great! My bid won and now I'm a lathe owner.
Best part is the price. I bade 1100¤(1,778.64 AUD). Notice the Mitutoyo digital measure unit.
Small list of parts needed :
New strut pipes.
Adjustable strut tops.
Polyurethane bushes.
Aluminium flywheel.
Blow off valve.
Waste gate.
New front hubs/modification of the current ones.
Adjustable rear links.
Height adjustable rear spring seats.
And a lot more...
Are here any other lathe owners?

Thats pretty impressive for a backyard workshop setup!
One of my mates owns an engineering workshop down south... when I first went their I nearly passed out when I saw his massive lathe.
This guys lathe is so big that they needed a 40' container just to ship the bed from Japan!

Lathes are evil!! I was walking past someone using a wood lathe (well outside the safety lines) and he dug the tool in, jammed it against the guide, snapped it, and a piece of it (about 8 inches of blade) stuck into the wooden door about a foot in front of my face.
Being 16 at the time I didn't get the 'holy f@#$ I almost died' and just continued what I was doing!!
but that thing looks like a beast!

Much kudos
Nothing quite as soul satisfying as an over-equipped home workshop ... and I should know
Looks like a great buy, too.
