I'm unsure of this tool and apparently need it to remove the crankshaft pulley to beable to remove my timing belt.
I'm talking 4ac.
What can i use in replace of this?
Most older jap crankshaft pulleys just pops out, this one is blardy tight!

Tried the supercheap auto one but the pitch of the bolt thread was different so it wouldn't screw into the crank.
Thanks for the advice guys, I'll figure something out. Some fencing wire around the pulley and a longer bolt with some thick washer should do the trick.
btw toobs, thanks for the pic. I was just wondering with the bracket covering the crank bolt thread, how are you suppose to push the pulley out? Do you use a pry bar in between the bracket? or do u just use long bolts and screw them in until the pulley pops out??

i think you have a few things confused....
# Supercheap Auto Crank Pulley Remover
- you leave the crank pulley bolt in, but undone. using two of the supplied bolts, bolt the big stary thing to the pulley and then bolt in the big long black centre bolt so that it starts pushing tight against the crank pulley bolt. The pulley will now start lifting off.
# Using WST-011 pictured by Toobs:
- again the crank pulley bolt is in the crank, but undone. Tightening up the two bolts either side starts to pull off the pulley as the metal plate is squeezed against the crank pulley bolt.

Yep that was Witzl's one... I was the one who told him he was a donghead and that he should have used the crank pulley remover that we already had!
