T series bellhousing for W55/58 box's	Thu, 01 September 2005 11:14

hey im trying to find out what bellhousing i am going to need to bolt a W55 or W58 to a 3tgteu...is there such a bellhousing or am i looking at a custom one....cheers scott [Report message to a moderator]

Well... what did they use to connect the gearbox to the engine in the first place?? You'll have to scout around Toyota wreckers, these forums, etc. to see if you can find one... [Report message to a moderator]

W55's came on 3T's Plus, 1G motors use the same bellhousing at T motors. [Report message to a moderator]

you can use a original 3t-gteu on that connected to w55 or you can use a 1g bellhousing. The difference though is that the 1g bellhousing makes the clutch fork go out to the passenger side compared to the drivers side with the 3t-gte one. 1g one will set you back at least $50 3t-gteu one will set you back $200+ I picked my 3t-gteu bellhousing up for a excellent price [Report message to a moderator]
